Home Fragrance Private Label — Factory to Shelf in 14 Weeks

March 19, 2026

Category: Home fragrance · Region: UAE (with EU distribution) · Engagement: Full private label setup

The starting point

A founder with a strong personal brand on Instagram (50k engaged followers in the home and lifestyle space) wanted to launch her own home fragrance line. She had €45,000 of capital and a clear aesthetic but no experience with manufacturing.

What we did

  • Sourced and vetted three candidate factories in Turkey and Portugal — selected the Portuguese partner for EU shipping speed and IFRA compliance handling
  • Managed sampling cycle: four iterations, six months condensed into seven weeks
  • Coordinated packaging design (in-house designer working to our brief), bottle sourcing, and label compliance for EU and GCC
  • Placed first PO of 1,800 units across three SKUs
  • Set up dual fulfillment: EU 3PL for European orders, Dubai warehouse for GCC

Launch results

  • Time from kickoff to first customer delivery: 14 weeks
  • First-day revenue: €18,400 (Instagram launch)
  • First 60 days revenue: €82,000
  • Sell-through of initial inventory: 71% in first 90 days
  • Reorder placed: month 3

What made it work

Speed in private label is almost always limited by the factory relationship and the founder’s decisiveness on packaging. Our partner factory had pre-vetted compliance paperwork, and the founder made fast, clear sampling decisions. That removed two months of typical drag from the timeline.
